There are a few basic requirements before a user can successfully use Yeigo:

1. A Yeigo compatible mobile phone.
2. The Yeigo application installed on your mobile phone.
3. For use over GPRS/3G you need a SIM card to access the service providers network, while use over Wi-Fi may not require a SIM card depending on your mobile handset.
4. Sufficient credit balance and/or data bundle or access to a Wi-Fi network, in order to support a connection to the internet from your mobile handset.
5. If you are making a call to a person without Yeigo or sending an SMS, you will require sufficient credit balance to make the call/sms.
