Yeigo sends your conversations and messages in little data packets across the Internet..

How does Yeigo work?

The process is rather straight forward - Yeigo sends your conversations and messages in little data packets (generally called kilobytes) across the Internet, rather than via traditional mobile operators. This means that you are paying for data transfer rather than the usual per minute billing - resulting in reduced mobile calling costs.

The end result is that with Yeigo you save money and experience global communication as it should be - free and without limitations.

Take a look at our illustration, below, to get a clear picture of how Yeigo works.

Your handset connects to the Internet allowing Yeigo to make calls over the Internet using Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP?) technologies, instead of the traditional networks. Your mobile can connect to the Internet over Wi-Fi, GPRS/EDGE, 3G/HSDPA and other emerging mediums.

Once your mobile is connected to the Internet - Yeigo establishes a Peer-to-Peer VoIP connection and through its network of servers, is able to support VoIP calls made through the Yeigo application and terminate them to the required destination world-wide - the need for international roaming is thus eliminated.

With its quality infrastructure, Yeigo is able to offer secure conversations and outstanding sound quality.

Yeigo is optimised to support VoIP calls over the available data connections by dynamically and seamlessly adjusting to the network conditions and capabilities of the mobile handset, even when in motion, giving you the very best in seamless, roaming VoIP communication.
